DNS4EU at Networkshop 2024
This year marked the 33rd edition of NETWORKSHOP (NWS), Hungary's most prestigious IT conference for the higher education, public education, research and public collections sectors. The conference was held over 3 days, with presentations on the DNS4EU project featured on the second day, during session 6, which focused on topics related to the broader issue of digital transformation.

The Role of HunCERT in the DNS4EU Project
HUN-REN SZTAKI, which provides HunCERT's technical team, is actively involved in the DNS4EU project, which aims to offer an alternative to the public DNS resolvers that currently dominate the market. By participating in this project, we contribute to the EU's digital sovereignty by providing a private, secure and independent European DNA resolver.

First NOG Conference
The first Hungarian NOG (Network Operation Group) conference, HUNOG, was held between 10-12 October 2023. The event was held with the professional support of HunCERT which is operated by DNS4EU partner HUN-REN SZTAKI. The event also marked the 20th anniversary of the launch of HunCERT, Hungary's leading cybersecurity emergency response team.

European DNS resolution is built with the participation of SZTAKI
The European Commission is planning to introduce a new European online DNS resolution. DNS4EU aims to enable EU citizens, businesses and institutions to use secure, privacy-compliant, high-performance, recursive DNS.
